Question: 1) Are we allowed to invest money in premium bonds throught the post office? 2) Are we allowed to eat in Mcdonalds?

  • 1) It IS allowed to invest money in premium bonds through the post office with two conditons:
    • You invest money with purely the intention of saving money-not to win the prize draw. And if you do win some money then you do not use it but you must distribute the money amongst poor people.
    • You should be able to withdraw your savings whenever you want (i.e there should be no restriction of withdrawing money).
  • 2) According to my knowledge ans understanding McDonalds fry Halal and Haram foods separately but then they mix the two oils together. Therefore it is NOT allowed at McDonalds.
