£1.2m Appeal

This appeal was launched on the 27th night of Ramadhan 1425 (2004) for the new masjid building.

The society members have already pledged £1000 each, this will Inshallah raise £450,000. But this however will not complete the project, therefore we are appealing to the general public to make as much donations as possible.

As we know from Ahadith, rewards are multiplied by 70, but Allah(SW) will reward us with even more in the hereafter acording to our intentions.

The appeal will also be transmitted via receiver and many sisters have already pledged and donated jewellery and cash totalling approx £100,000.

The plans have now been passed by Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council. Now we are in the process of getting the engineer's reports to finalise the details of the new Masjid Building, with work commencing shortly.

Please make duas during the blessed month of Ramadhan and with help from Allah(SW), we will Inshallah complete the project very quickly. Ameen
